Privacy policy
Last updated . This policy covers async-io.live, including the documentation at async-io.live/docs/. It describes what is collected when you visit, who processes it, and how to reach us.
The short version
- This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or cross-site tracking.
- Visit statistics are aggregate and cookieless.
- We only hold personal information you choose to send us: an email, or a call you book.
- We do not sell or rent personal information.
Visit statistics
We count visits with Plausible Analytics, which works without cookies. It records aggregate figures (pages viewed, referring site, browser, operating system, device type and country) that do not identify you, and we use them only to see which pages are read.
Hosting
The site is served by GitHub Pages. GitHub logs the IP address of visitors for security purposes, as described in the GitHub Privacy Statement. Fonts and scripts on this site are served from async-io.live, except the analytics script above and the scheduling widget below.
Booking a call
The contact page embeds a Calendly scheduler. Calendly loads only on that page. If you book, Calendly collects the name, email address and answers you enter, and may set its own cookies. We receive the booking and use it to prepare and hold the call.
When you write to support@async-io.org, we use your message and address to answer you and, if you are a customer, to provide the support you pay for. We keep that correspondence for as long as the conversation or the support relationship needs it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw a consent you gave. Write to support@async-io.org, which reaches the person in charge of the protection of personal information at Async IO. We answer within 30 days.
Async IO is based in Quebec. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, or the data protection authority where you live.
